Consent & privacy choices

Last updated: 2026-09-26

INSTA-BOT is designed to meet India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the DPDP Rules, 2025. This page explains how we obtain consent and how you can exercise your choices.

Account signup consent is separate: it is recorded when you create an account and is withdrawn by deleting your account. Details are in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

1. Account registration consent

When you create an account, you must actively tick a box to agree to our Terms of Service and to processing of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. We record the time of acceptance and the policy version (2026-09-26). This consent is specific and informed — we do not use pre-checked boxes.

You may withdraw this consent at any time by deleting your account from your profile page or by emailing us. Withdrawal stops future processing and triggers deletion as described in the Privacy Policy (subject to limited security-audit retention required by law).

2. Optional analytics consent

First-party site analytics are off until you choose "Accept analytics" in the cookie banner or on this page. Essential cookies for login and Instagram connection work regardless of this choice. See the Cookie Policy for details.

3. Instagram automation and third-party data

When you connect an Instagram account, you instruct us to process messages and comments sent to that account so automations can run. People who message or comment on your Instagram account generally do not sign up for INSTA-BOT; you are responsible for ensuring your use of automation complies with applicable law and Meta's policies. Our role as a data processor for that third-party data is described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Your DPDP rights

Depending on your relationship with us, you may have the right to access, correct, erase, withdraw consent, nominate another person to exercise rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity, and lodge a grievance with us. See the Privacy Policy for how to exercise these rights.

5. Contact / grievance

Nittish Baboria — Grievance contact for data protection matters: nittishbaboria123@gmail.com. We aim to acknowledge grievances within a reasonable time and resolve them as required under applicable law.
